DNA November Events Recap: A Month of Gratitude, Celebration, and Giving

November was a meaningful and memorable month here at DNA, filled with appreciation, connection, friendly competition, and community impact. As we look back on the moments we shared, we’re reminded of how strongly our team embodies our core values of Excellence, Respect, Teamwork, Flexibility, Empowerment, and Giving.

Our First-Ever Gratitude Tree

For the first year, DNA introduced a Gratitude Tree—a space where employees could pause, reflect, and write down the things they’re thankful for.

More than a dozen team members filled out gratitude cards, sharing everything from appreciation for family, friends, and good health, to celebrating the arrival of three new DNA babies this year. Others expressed gratitude for the everyday wins that keep us moving—shipments arriving on time, deadlines being met, and the support we offer one another as a team.

Seeing the tree fill with heartfelt messages was a beautiful reminder of the positivity within our workplace.

🦃 Thanksgiving Celebration – November 20

We came together for our annual Thanksgiving Celebration, and it was truly one for the books. DNA generously catered all the main sides, while John and David brought their famous ham and turkey. The rest of the team completed the feast with appetizers, salads, homemade desserts, and more—creating an incredible spread that brought the whole company together.

And yes, we brought back our beloved Appetizer and Dessert Contest!

A huge congratulations to Monica, who took first place in BOTH categories this year! A double win well-deserved.

Supporting Brother Bill’s Helping Hands

Throughout November, we also hosted a canned food drive benefiting Brother Bill’s Helping Hands, a local nonprofit serving families right here in West Dallas.

DNA employees stepped up in a big way—together, we collected 176 non-perishable items to donate. Your generosity will directly support our neighbors in need, especially during the holiday season. Thank you to everyone who contributed!
